Fire-Resistant Test

Furnace 4 m x 4 m

The fire resistance tests are carried out at the Lathen facility in a modern test institute built in 2010. In the gas-fired vertical test stand, maximum dimensions of 6.40 m x 5.30 m can be tested.


Tests according to DIN 1634-1

The scope of the tests is to determine the fire resistance of doors, gates, closures and windows.
This test serves as a basis for the application for a general building inspectorate approval at the German Institute for Building Technology, Berlin and will be used as proof for the preparation of classification reports as well as EXAP reports from the appearance of the product standard DIN EN 16034.
As an accredited test institute according to DIN EN ISO 17025 as well as a listed test center by the German Institute for Construction Technology, Berlin, we support you in obtaining the necessary proof.


Tests according to DIN EN 1364-1

The purpose of the tests is to determine the fire resistance for non-structural components - such as walls and glazing.
This test serves, inter alia, As a basis for the application for a general building supervisory approval at the German Institute for Building Technology, Berlin. Furthermore, this test is used to obtain evidence of applicability throughout Europe.

Smoke Control and Protection

Test Furnace Smoke Protection

The smoke protection tests are carried out at the Lathen facility in a modern test institute established in 2010. In the smoke protection test stand maximum dimensions of 5.00 m x 5.00 m or 3.40 m x 3.40 m can be detected by means of smoke protection.

Tests according to DIN EN 1634-3 or DIN 18095

The scope of the test for the smoke protection behavior of smoke protection or fire protection is the determination of leak rates.
This test serves as a basis for the application for a general building supervisory approval at the Deutsches Institut für Bautechnik, Berlin as well as for the preparation of a general building inspection certificate as a basis and will be used as proof for the preparation of classification reports as well as EXAP reports from the appearance of the product standard DIN EN 16034.
As an accredited test institute according to DIN EN ISO 17025 and in accordance with the state building regulations as well as a listed test center by the German Institute for Construction Technology, we support you in obtaining the necessary proof.

Permanently Functioning

Continuous Function Hall

The continuous function tests are carried out at the Lathen facility in a modern test institute established in 2010. In a separate video-monitored permanent function hall, continuous function tests can be carried out on swing doors with the maximum dimensions of 5.00 m x 5.00 m.

In addition, test stands for doors up to the maximum dimensions of (W x H) 25,00 m x 4,50 m and 10,00 m x 6,00 m are available.

Tests according to DIN 4102-18, DIN EN 1191 as well as DIN EN 12605

The scope of the test is the proof of the durability of the self-contained. In this case, the test specimens are subjected to a predetermined number of opening and closing cycles. The number of cycles depends on the class or national requirements.

Acoustic Test

In cooperation with the TÜV Nord Group, we are able to provide acoustic insulation tests in accordance with DIN EN ISO 10140 at our location in Lathen in a modern test stand built up to a sound insulation measure of R'max, w = 57 dB.
The test specimens can be tested in variable dimensions up to the clear green dimensions of (W x H) 4.10 m x 2.80 m.
Various production openings are available. Moreover, every desired dimension can be realized
